VLOTHO NAHTSCHUTZ — a professional product for temporary protection of seams, threads, and specific areas of the item during coloring of natural and synthetic leather. After drying, it forms an elastic protective film that prevents paint from reaching contrasting threads and areas that should not be colored.

The product significantly simplifies neat restoration and recoloring of items, allowing preservation of the original seam color and achieving a clear paint boundary. Suitable for use with sponge, brush, airbrush, and spray gun.

After coloring is complete, the protective film is easily removed without leaving residues or damaging the material.

How to Use

1. Clean the surface of the item before use.
2. Apply a small amount of the product with a fine brush, toothpick, dosing needle, or bottle nozzle onto threads, seams, or other areas to be protected from coloring.
3. Allow the product to dry completely for 10–15 minutes until an elastic film forms.
4. Perform coloring of the item using any preferred method.
5. After the paint has fully dried, carefully remove the protective film from the threads and treated areas.

VLOTHO NAHTSCHUTZ is designed for temporary surface protection during dyeing. After completing the work, the product must be completely removed from the item.

Before first use, it is recommended to perform a test application on an inconspicuous area of the material.

Recommendations

• Apply the product in a thin, even layer, fully covering the threads to be protected.
• Before dyeing, make sure the protective film is completely dry.
• Remove the protective film only after the paint has fully dried.
• After removing the film, clean the item with a soft microfiber cloth if needed.
• Store in a tightly closed container at temperatures between +5 °C to +30 °C. Do not allow freezing or exposure to direct sunlight.

Precautions

• Use the product only as intended.
• Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
• If it gets into eyes, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water.
• Keep out of reach of children.
