VLOTHO HERFORD — professional water-based polyurethane paint for restoring and coloring car steering wheels and other smooth natural leather interior elements. Creates a durable, semi-matte finish with high resistance to abrasion, sweat, skin oils, and daily mechanical wear.
Specifically designed for parts subjected to constant friction. To achieve maximum durability, the formula VLOTHO HERFORD has lower elasticity compared to paints for car seats, resulting in a finish that better withstands heavy use. The paint is suitable for full restoration as well as spot repairs on worn leather areas, preserving the natural look and semi-matte gloss level.

APPLICATION

The paint is used for coloring and restoring car steering wheels, gear shift knobs, armrests, leather interior inserts, and other smooth natural leather parts subject to heavy use.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

1. Clean the surface using VLOTHO LEDERREINIGER NANO.

2. Allow the surface to dry completely.

3. Before coloring, treat the surface with the solvent-activator VLOTHO EXTER or degrease using VLOTHO ISO REINIGER.

4. Thoroughly mix the paint before use.

5. For maximum mechanical and chemical durability of the finish, it is recommended to add VLOTHO CROSS LINKER at 1–2% of the paint weight.

6. Apply the paint in a thin, even layer using a sponge, airbrush, or spray gun.

7. When applying with a sponge, spread the paint in thin circular motions to avoid thick layers.

8. Dry each layer with a hairdryer.

9. If necessary, apply additional thin layers until an even color and full coverage are achieved.

10. After finishing, allow the item to cure for at least 12 hours.

• For maximum coating durability, it is recommended to use VLOTHO CROSS LINKER.

• Not for use on suede, nubuck, velour, or Alcantara.

• The product color on the screen may differ from the actual shade depending on the settings and color rendering characteristics of different devices.
