Vlotho LATEX KLEBER Latex Adhesive for Leather

This adhesive is used in the footwear, leather goods, and other industries, as well as for household auxiliary bonding of parts made from leather, textiles, cardboard, leatherboard, thermoplastic materials with one-sided coating, artificial and synthetic leathers with fabric backing, and other materials. Vlotho Latex Kleber offers strong adhesion to the materials listed above. Bonding is performed while the adhesive film is still slightly wet. The glue is applied evenly in a thin layer onto prepared, dry, clean surfaces of the materials to be bonded, using a spray gun, glue-coating machine, or manually with a brush. The drying time for the adhesive film at room temperature is 5-15 minutes. The parts are bonded by hand with pressure or under a press, depending on the production equipment. The adhesive can also be used for one-sided application, in which case the adhesive film should not be dried. Drying time depends on the structure of the materials used and the equipment for applying the adhesive. In each specific case, the bonding process is determined by a technician according to the materials and equipment used. Vlotho Latex Kleber has a thicker consistency and does not run off the grain side of the leather, but for good adhesion, the grain side should be abraded beforehand.
