Product Description
Vlotho Lederbalsam is a water-oil emulsion with impregnating components specially designed for leather surfaces. It provides care for leather surfaces such as car seats as well as any leather goods (biker jackets, shoes). Special oils improve the quality of leather fibers and prevent slipping. The leather becomes soft and supple. The oils used offer a light polish to restore surface color, keep the leather elastic, and create an additional protective layer. All three components can preserve the perfect surface of the most delicate leather for a long time, preventing it from stretching, cracking, or fading even under heavy use. In this formula, the impregnating elements (water, oils, waterproof ingredients) are emulsified in a water base. Only after the water has completely evaporated does the oil evenly absorb into the leather without leaving any residue. Even a small application of this product makes the treated material resistant to water and oil. That’s why care products of this type are suitable for delicate leather interiors like those in Mercedes, BMW, Bentley, and Maybach. Contains no silicones! When treating biker jackets and shoes, it's important to know that for deep impregnation of the surface, apply the product until the leather surface remains wet. Very dry leather will absorb the product quickly upon first application, leaving the leather dry. Reapply until short applications no longer absorb the product and the surface stays damp. This is how leather is impregnated deeply. This technique is called impregnation. When applied this way, the leather becomes waterproof, allowing comfortable wear in any weather. Application Instructions: Dampen the edge of a sponge and evenly wipe the leather surface. For heavy dirt or very dry leather, repeat the procedure. Use a microfiber cloth made of 100% polyester for surface treatment. For impregnation (deep treatment), apply the product until it stops absorbing into the surface. Wipe off any excess with microfiber. This leather protection method is highly effective after dry cleaning, significantly protecting and extending the clean, well-maintained appearance of the surface. Drying with a hot hairdryer speeds up the polymerization of the fluorocarbon polymers. At room temperature, it may take up to 3 days, so full water-repellent properties do not develop immediately as they do with hot drying.
