Vlotho SOLENFARBE Sole Paint

VLOTHO SOLENFARBE — professional water-based polyurethane paint designed for coloring and restoring shoe soles. It offers high durability, excellent adhesion, and enhanced abrasion resistance, providing a long-lasting finish even under heavy use.
The paint forms a flexible coating that doesn’t crack when the sole bends, maintaining its original appearance. Suitable for color restoration, concealing scuffs, and full recoloring of various types of shoe soles.

APPLICATION

Designed for painting and restoring soles made of rubber, thermoplastic rubber (TR), polyurethane (PU), EVA, TPR, leather, and other materials used in footwear manufacturing. Suitable for sneakers, boots, shoes, and other footwear.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

1. Clean the sole from dirt and dry thoroughly.

2. Degrease the surface with an appropriate cleaner.

3. If necessary, lightly scuff the surface with fine abrasive.

4. Thoroughly mix the paint before use.

5. Apply the paint in thin, even layers using a sponge, brush, airbrush, or spray gun.

6. Allow 10–15 minutes to dry to the touch between layers.

7. If needed, apply additional layers until fully covered.

8. After finishing, leave the item for full curing for 24 hours.

RECOMMENDATIONS

• For maximum coating strength, it is recommended to add VLOTHO CROSS LINKER in the amount of 1–2% by weight of the paint.

• Before painting, it is recommended to test on a small area.

• For maximum wear resistance, apply several thin layers rather than one thick layer.

• Store in a tightly closed container at a temperature between +5 °C to +35 °C, avoiding freezing and direct sunlight exposure.
