VLOTHO TOKO PLUS — emulsion for smoothing and polishing edges and grain leather. A professional product for preparing edges, grain leather, suede, and buffed leather for further treatment. Smooths the surface, eliminates fuzziness, improves the appearance of leather, and can be used as a standalone colorless finishing coat.

When applied to grain leather and suede, the emulsion bonds loose fibers, creating a smooth, dense, and neat surface. This significantly reduces fuzziness and prepares the material for subsequent dyeing or to achieve a covered suede finish.

When treating leather edges, the product decreases the material’s absorbency, improves adhesion of subsequent coatings, reduces paint consumption, fills small pores and seams, polishes well, and retains elasticity after drying, preventing coating cracks.

VLOTHO TOKO PLUS is also excellent for polishing leather soles made from chamois. When used together with waxes, such as VLOTHO CARNAUBA ECO, and by sequentially polishing each layer, it creates a dense glossy surface with a mirror-like shine.

When restoring heavily worn smooth leather, the product can be used as a primer on open suede before applying polyurethane coatings.

APPLICATION

Designed for treating leather edges, grain leather, suede, and buffed leather, preparing surfaces for dyeing, producing covered suede, polishing chamois soles, and restoring damaged smooth leather on open suede.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

1. Thoroughly mix the product before use.

2. Dilute with water if necessary. The recommended ratio is 1:1, but the optimal mix depends on the material and desired result.

3. Apply a thin, even layer with a brush, sponge, or applicator. When treating grain leather, apply in the direction of the nap.

4. Allow the coating to dry completely. Depending on layer thickness and material absorbency, technical drying takes up to 20 minutes. Using warm air speeds up drying.

5. Lightly sand the surface if needed before applying the next layer.

6. For the smoothest finish, multiple thin layers can be applied with intermediate polishing.

7. When polishing chamois soles, apply VLOTHO CARNAUBA ECO after drying and perform the final polishing.

RECOMMENDATIONS

• For the smoothest surface, it is recommended to apply several thin layers instead of one thick layer.

• Before dyeing, ensure the previous layer is completely dry.

• For a mirror shine when treating chamois soles, it is recommended to use this product together with wax VLOTHO CARNAUBA ECO.

• When treating grain leather, apply in the direction of the nap for a more even smoothing effect.

• Store in a tightly closed container at a temperature between +5 °C to +35 °C, avoiding freezing and direct sunlight exposure.
