Vlotho EDGE HM Semi-Matte Edge Paint for Leather Trims

VLOTHO EDGE — professional water-based edge paint designed for treating the edges of natural leather products. Creates a durable, flexible, and smooth coating resistant to abrasion and mechanical impact. Thanks to its optimal viscosity, the paint applies easily, does not form bubbles, and sands well, allowing you to achieve neat and even edges even without extensive experience.
After drying, the coating remains flexible, does not crack when bent, and gives the product a clean, finished appearance. Suitable for both professional workshops and manufacturing, as well as home use.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

1. Prepare the edge for painting. For porous types of leather, it is recommended to pre-treat with primer VLOTHO QUARZFÜLLER.

2. Thoroughly stir the paint before use.

3. Apply an even layer to the prepared edge.

4. Allow the coating to dry. When drying naturally, the technical drying time can be up to 20 minutes depending on the layer thickness and material absorbency.

5. After drying, sand the surface with fine-grit sandpaper and remove dust before applying the next layer.

6. For best results, apply several thin layers instead of one thick layer.

7. After finishing, allow the item to cure for at least 12 hours.

RECOMMENDATIONS

• When using primer VLOTHO QUARZFÜLLER do not apply more than three layers with a total thickness exceeding 1.2 mm.

• Without using primer, do not apply more than two layers with a total thickness exceeding 1.2 mm.

• Dried paint can be removed with solvent activator VLOTHO EXTER.

• The product color on screen may differ from the actual shade depending on your monitor’s settings and color calibration.
