Why This Step Is Necessary

If you dye or treat dirty suede, the product applies unevenly: dirt and dust prevent the solution from penetrating the nap.

Cleaning helps prepare the surface for the next steps: softening, refreshing, dyeing, and protecting.

How to Perform This Step

1. First, remove dry dust with a suede brush.
2. Apply Velvetreiniger moderately, without soaking the material.
3. Work with a soft brush or cloth in the direction of the nap.
4. After treatment, allow the item to dry completely at room temperature.
5. Before moving to the next step, lift the nap with a brush.
